2023 Friends of Ryan Winter Social
In this month’s newsletter we are proud to announce the 1-year anniversary of posting a monthly newsletter on behalf of the Friends of Ryan. We hope that the newsletter is serving you well in keeping you up to date on the activities and announcements from the Friends of Ryan and Archbishop Ryan High School and we welcome your feedback. We also highlight the 2023 Winter Social and hope to see you all at the event.
2023 Friends of Ryan Winter Social
The 2023 Winter Social is just over a week away and will certainly be the hottest ticket in NE Philly!!! Entertainment provided by Archbishop Ryan’s very own DJ Bobby Sacco ‘00 and lite bites provided by Marinucci’s Deli and AR Alum Jaclyn Ferry ‘08 with Ferry Good Treats. The event is BYOB and scheduled for Saturday February 4, 2023, from 7PM to midnight in the Archbishop Ryan South Gym. Last year we had 700 people attend and everyone had an amazing night! Friends, Music, Dancing, Raffles, 50/50, Auction Items, AR Merchandise.
We have a few reserved tables left for $400 and includes 10 tickets to the event. or you can buy individual tickets online for $45 at https://www.arhs.me/wintersocial. Tickets at the door will be $50 per person.

Winter Social Raffle Baskets
Our team who organizes the Raffle Baskets for each event somehow finds a way to outdo themselves and this year is no exception. On behalf of the Friends of Ryan, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to our business community and individual supporters who donated to our Raffle Baskets. Your generosity and commitment to our school is greatly appreciated and your donations are the highlight of the event. We value your support, and we are thankful for your contributions. Thank you for helping us make our event a success!
Raffles tickets are available online at https://www.arhs.me/wintersocial and will also be available for sale at the event. Raffle tickets are 26 for $20, 52 for $30 and 78 for $40.

Archbishop Ryan Digitizes Yearbooks

Catholic Schools Week Celebration Mass
To celebrate Catholic Schools Week, Father Monica will be holding a prayer service on February 1, 2023. We will be honoring all Police, Fire and Public Service personnel. Light refreshments will be served. The Prayer Service will begin at 8am. Sergeant Mike Cerruti from the FOP will be here to collect a donation of socks and gloves for the homeless from the student body.

Come out and celebrate with fellow Alumni & friends as the Friends of Ryan host the Annual Winter Social, https://www.arhs.me/wintersocial, on Saturday February 4, 2023, from 7PM to midnight at Archbishop Ryan’s South Gym.
Event is BYOB with lite snacks provided by Marinucci’s Deli along with AR’s very own DJ Bobby Sacco providing all the entertainment for the evening. Tickets are $45 online and $50 at the door with table package available for $400 which includes 1 reserved table and 10 tickets to the event. Sponsorship packages are available online to promote your business to the Archbishop Ryan community which includes over 35,000 Alumni. Looking to get involved and help with the event? The Archbishop Ryan Diamond Club is hosting Bag Bingo night to support the Archbishop Ryan Baseball program. Event is BYOB and scheduled for Saturday February 25, 2023, at the Archbishop Ryan South Cafeteria with doors opening at 6PM and Bingo starting at 7PM. Tickets are available for $30 and only available online at https://www.arhs.me/baseballbingo
The Baseball program has been very active in leading a grassroots effort on several fronts most noticeably upgrading the field conditions, new fencing, new dugouts and much more. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.
Come out and join fellow Alumni during the Archbishop Ryan Raider & Ragdoll Alumni Breakfast. Started by a few Alumni getting together on a regular basis to catch up and discuss the events taking place at Ryan, has since blossomed in size and scope. Hear directly from Ryan Administrators, Friends of Ryan, Alumni groups and community leaders and how our Alumni can support Archbishop Ryan. The breakfast is scheduled for Saturday April 15, 2023, from 10AM to 1PM at the Philadelphia Quartett Club located at 1075 Southampton Road Philadelphia PA 19116.
